I have two skinny tees and I am obsessed with them. Not only are they super slimming but they're one size fits all and made of a great stretchy soft fabric (and way less expensive then American Apparel/Splendid/C&C).

I have the Skinny Tees camisole in black and cobalt blue. They're perfect for layering because they're long, comfy enough to sleep in, and just the right amount of sexy to wear for a dressy night out! Plus, my order came with a cute tote bag! LOVES IT!!

My new favorite store!

The clothes are adorable and affordable. Think higher quality Forever21 meets the charm and layout of a small boutique.

I bought an ombre white-to-grey "butterfly wing" sleeved sweater and a very Cameron Diaz-esque beige and red slouchy top (for $34!)

LOVE!!! IN LOVE with this store!!! Will be visiting again soon (like may go back tomorrow)!! Eee! Plus other shoppers are raving about it on Yelp.

The concept behind The Man Repeller:

ward off men by means of wearing ridiculous haute couture, a la Chanel yak fur to our left.

The blog's author, Leandra Medine (below) is a Yeshivah high school come Parsons New School educated gal, but that's not why we love her! It's her personable voice, hysterical writing, and authenticity that had me at hello-harem-pants.

Britney Will Always Be My Idol

Tonight we (bf & I) were driving to dinner (Peppone's in Brentwood) to celebrate my sister passing the Series7 exam (which is like passing the bar but in the world of finance) when I was listening to holiday music on the radio.. a Britney Spears rendition of a holiday song... and it made me reflect on...

How much I love Britney.

I really do. I am so grateful for Brit. She is my number 1 - always will be (#2-5: Lady GaGa, Brigitte Bardot, Madonna, Carrie Bradshaw).

I've met Britney twice. The first time she was in her prime, she was wearing a cut off wife beater, low rise pants and a fedora. This was at a private party. We were sitting together at a small table of 5. She bummed a cigarette from me. I randomly had Cartier cigarettes with me. As I handed her a cig and a light I secretly died inside. OMG!!!! The second time she was kind of a hot mess (but we don't judge) with black hair, drunk at LAX nightclub.

Anyway, my eternal love for Brit inspired me to share this shrine of pics with y'all. Enjoy!

City Country Cool

If I could describe my personal style, it would be:

Country girl meets sex kitten meets bohemia meets sometimes-you-feel-fat-and-have-to-wear-big-drapey-tops. (A whirlwind of ideas and concepts... I know).

New MAC Collabos

Oooh!! Fantzy!!! Two new MAC collaborations out and available on MAC's website.

First is a new limited edition satin lipstick named 'Pink Friday' to celebrate Nicki Minaj's debut album of the same name. Ugh LOVE HER!

The other is full set of cosmetics designed by Dutch industrial designer Marcel Wanders. Check out that crazy packaging!

I don't know about you but I'm still holding out for MAC by Rodarte... The project was canceled says New York Magazine. Boooo!!! Grrrr!!!!

Another Highlight

My new favorite store: Paper Source

Now that my new hometown is the Hollywood Hills, I am halfway between Studio City and West Hollywood, and since I am a valley girl (and a valley girl at heart), I tend to run my errands in the valley half of our neighborhood. There's better parking and less hipsters. Enough said.

I was on my way to do something productive and work related, like deposit checks at the bank or somethin', when I was overcome by a desire to stop into a store that I had driven past, dozens of times, Paper Source. A big beautiful store located on Ventura Boulevard ( + Laurel Canyon).

And I was not disappointed. This is my new favorite store!!! For one, the store is gorgeous. Mosaic tile entrance... celadon green paint... you had me at hello.

Inside are the most beautiful of things: hand pressed stationary, gilded picture frames, luxury hand creams.. soy candles... aprons with cupcakes...cupcake cookbook.. cupcake bandages! I die. This store is one version of my heaven (the other version is a room full of down comforters, I am very very thin, and there are peonies, orchids, and Red Vines everywhere).

While, I wanted to blow my entire savings account in this small store, I resisted and bought only a few items. This picture frame. It's beee-utiful and it reminds me of my summer trip to Morrocco...

And I'm a sucker for cute bandaids/cupcakes, thus this purchase was a necessity.
