In Yoga

I just returned home from a delicious yoga class and thought I'd share with you this fabulous yoga studio, In Yoga!

I met Kelly, one of the studio owners, during the holidays at a trunk show where I was selling my namesake line of crystal hair accessories LoveBerman.

Anyhow, we got to talking and realized that her new yoga studio was in my new neighborhood! Just a 5 minute drive down Laurel Canyon! Aside from its convenient proximity, the studio is gorgeous, full of natural light and offers a wide range of classes from stretch yoga to advanced 90 minute classes. They have a really cute gift shop and there is lots of free parking in the back!

I highly recommend it! J'adore!!

Maha Yoga

I want you all to know that I am a complete spaz! I have never been very flexible or coordinated and I am quite clumsy. For example, if there is a door nob, no doubt my dress will find it and I will get "flung back" as I am walking by (it happens ALL THE TIME!!! why?!).

And I have always admired the yoga girls and ballerinas and have tried to be one of them with various outfits and purchases, hoping that my new Danskin leotard would somehow inspire my feet to pas de bourree.

Well, I have finally found a yoga/dance studio for me!

It's called Maha Yoga and it's located in Brentwood. It's like nothing I've ever tried before! They blast top-40 and rap music during the class! The energy in the class is so amazing and the music keeps me inspired and my adrenalin pumping. Downward facing dog to Ne-Yo? How fun! HappyBaby pose to Katy Perry? Don't mind if I do!

I am still terrible and always apologize to those around me because I am so wobbly, but at least I am putting my cute yoga mat to good use! Classes are 90 minutes. 60 minutes of a core work out and about 30 minutes of breathing and meditation (my favorite teachers are Steve & Tom). I even dragged my boyfriend with me one Sunday morning and to my surprise he was wayyy better than me.

Free City Hoodie: Splurge or Save?

Splurge.

Tough call I know, because we're looking at $22.80 versus $185. But Ron Herman's Free City is the original. Just like with Uggs, you gotta get the real deal.

And I admit, it's kind of ridiculous that Free City has become a Los Angeles cult classic, because I mean really! A $2oo sweatshirt!

Unless of course you already have a few, then you have "permission" to get this copycat 'Fly Free' one from Forever21. I think I may...

This is a place for me to share some of my favorite things with you. SUCH AS: Marc Jacobs, Red Vines (the bucket), Maha Yoga (I'm not very good, and am always appalled when I see how much makeup is on my sweat towel), MAC lipstick (obvi), and Hanky Panky boy shorts to name a few!

Also a huge fan of the free Victoria Secret undies coupon when it comes in the mail. Who could pass that up!
