Splurge or Save: Leopard Bag

As I mentioned earlier here, too much of a good thing, like animal print, can quickly become a not-so-good thing, unless of course, one uses serious discretion and moderation.

As modeled, a leopard bag with a simple neutral outfit can look really chic!

My obsession with newsboy bags, as noted here, is nothing new, and these bags from Aldo and Proenza Schouler heighten my obsession in a profound, deeply spiritual way.

Question is, Splurge or Save? (I kind of want both.)

Check out these knockout bags from Lanvin and Fendi. I want them both!!! When I can't indulge in fifteen hundred dollar leather bags, (which is most of the time) I indulge in fifteen dollar beauty items...

Cargo Skinny Jeans: Splurge or Save?

Skinny cargos are all the rage for pre-fall. They're great for any season really! I've never really been one to wear pants (I think they make me look like a boy slash fat), so I mostly wear dresses, but I'm really loving these!

Question is, splurge or save?

Free City Hoodie: Splurge or Save?

Splurge.

Tough call I know, because we're looking at $22.80 versus $185. But Ron Herman's Free City is the original. Just like with Uggs, you gotta get the real deal.

And I admit, it's kind of ridiculous that Free City has become a Los Angeles cult classic, because I mean really! A $2oo sweatshirt!

Unless of course you already have a few, then you have "permission" to get this copycat 'Fly Free' one from Forever21. I think I may...
